Q: What are My Accountant Services?A: My Accountant Services are a totally new way to manage your personal finances. We prepare your monthly checks [and we can sign them if you wish], keep track of your expenses and provide you with quarterly reports. We also reconcile your bank statements, post the checks you write, etc. This leaves you time to look at the big picture, to understand where you stand financially.
Q: Do I lose control of my accounts?
A: Under no circumstances do you lose control. All you lose are the headaches associated with your personal finances. Most of our clients feel more in control because for the first time they know what's really going on thanks to our timely reports.
Q: How do my bills and other financial documents get to you?
A: There are two ways: Many of our clients send us their bills every month in the postage -- paid envelope's we provide. Most, however, have us change the addresses so their bills come to us directly. They still have a chance to review them when we return them with the checks ready to sign.
Q: Don't things get lost that way?
A: In two decades of service, we've never had a package go astray. Often we have messengers pick up and deliver packages. And for a small extra fee we can use FedEx or some other overnight delivery service.
Q: How do you know what to pay?
A: It isn't very difficult, once we get to know you. Most bills have to be paid in full, so that's what we do. In the case of credit cards, you simply tell us how to pay them - pay in full, or pay some fixed amount each month. After that, it's automatic. You can change your mind any time you wish.
Q: What if I go away for the summer [or winter]?
A: That's when you really see the benefits of My Accountant Services. We make sure your financial affairs are taken care of while you're travelling, on vacation, etc. We can send your checks to you wherever you may be, or we can arrange to make the payments directly. This way everything stays current.
Q: Will you try to sell me financial services?
A: We are a professional accounting firm, and are not allowed to sell financial products, give investment advice, etc. We don't charge commissions, either. Our only charge is a low monthly fee, which for most people averages less than the lawn service.
Q: What if I don't want to continue?
A: You are free to cancel the service at any time. There is no obligation to continue for a fixed amount of time. We guarantee 100% satisfaction, or your money back.
